The Plough has a wines, spirits and ales selection to satisfy the most discerning of thirsts!

We've over fifty different spirits - from the famous brand names you'd expect, like Bell's, Gordon's, Bombay Sapphire and Smirnoff, along with a few lesser known specials for the connoisseur, such as Aberlour and Edradour single malt whiskies and Hendrick's Gin. Just ask and we'll always do our best to satisy!

Guest Ale of the Month

Award-winning Hopbacks Summer Lightning (ABV 5.0%) . This is to supplement the 'usual' suspects - including Guinness, Theakstons, John Smiths, Fullers London Pride and Wells Bombardier. Our lager options inlcude Kronenbourg, Fosters, Carling and Stella Artois.

Wines of the Month

Quagga Ridge of South Africa
These wines are named after the “quagga” – a type of zebra like animal. The “Quagga Project” is an attempt by a dedicated group of people in South Africa to bring the Quagga back from extinction and re-introduce it to its former habitat. The project receives a donation for every bottle sold.

The Red : Caberbet Sauvignon / Merlot
Ruby Red in colour. Fruit driven with ripe red berry notes and a juicy palate with a rounded finish.

The White : Sauvignon Blanc / Semillion
Pale in colour, crisp almost grassy with tropical fruit aromsa and a slight buttery mouth feel.
